This Privacy Policy explains how The Standup, a product of Kynth Studios, collects, uses and protects information when you visit standup.kynth.studio or subscribe to it. By using the site you consent to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We collect your email address when you subscribe to the daily digest, and — if you take out a membership — the Stripe customer identifier for that subscription. We never see or store your card details; Stripe handles payment entirely. We also collect basic technical information automatically, such as pages requested and approximate region.

How We Use Your Information

We use your email to send the daily digest and the double opt-in confirmation, and nothing else. We use subscription data only to manage the membership itself. We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing for other products.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Standup sets a session cookie when you sign in, so you stay signed in between visits. Nothing on the site is behind it — the wire, the archive and the digest are free to everyone. It is required for the site to work and is not used for advertising.

We use a few different types of cookies: essential cookies, which are required for the site to function; analytics cookies, which help us measure traffic and improve our content; preference cookies, which remember your settings; and, where applicable, advertising cookies used to deliver more relevant content.

Managing Cookies

You can clear or block cookies through your browser at any time. Blocking the session cookie will sign you out; the wire, the archive and the digest stay fully readable either way.

Third-Party Services

We rely on a small set of processors: Supabase (subscriber data), Stripe (payments and subscription status), Resend (the digest emails), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes data under its own privacy policy and only to run this service.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. Subscriber rows are protected by row-level security. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing standup@kynth.studio. Every digest and alert carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all email from us immediately.

Children’s Privacy

The Standup is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, email standup@kynth.studio and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above, and we encourage you to review this page periodically.
